Ventana Lakes bills itself as the “Adult Community for the Young-at-Heart”. Ventana Lakes is 480 manicured acres including 30 acres of winding lakes that await the fishing and boating enthusiast. 

Built in th mid 1980's through 2003, the community was started by Lennar Homes and then completed by Shea Homes. It's membership consists of 1,701 properties.

There is no golf course per se at Ventana Lakes, but part of the community shares the Sun City address. The Sun City courses are public courses.

Ventana Lakes offers a variety in home styles and 21 floor plans to choose from. There are spacious single family homes, light and airy patio homes on the banks of the lakes, and garden homes with low maintenance.

FEES: are based on the type of property you own. Single family residents pay $188/quarterly. Patio homes garden homes pay more because the individual associations charge in addition to the larger Ventana Lakes assocation.
  

There is no golf course at Ventana Lakes, but residents may play at any of the seven Sun City West courses (4 regulation and 3 executive) under their "Controlled Neighborhood Play" (CNP) program, which allows residents of area adult communities, including Ventana Lakes, to use Sun City West golf courses.  Tee times can be reserved three days prior to play. Residents of these communities must present proof of residency in their adult community to play the courses at the guest rates in effect at the time of play.
