Located in the
Northwest
Valley city of
Surprise,
Arizona, the active adult lifestyle community of Sun City Grand encompasses over 4,000 acres and is the most recently sold out Del Webb community.
Following the success of Sun City and Sun City West, Sun City Grand was a popular choice even before the Arizona boom years in 2005 and 2006. The huge influx of investors that created a housing shortage helped Sun City Grand sell out in record time, and with record appreciation in home values.
Sun City Grand has virtually every amenity you can image - and usually several so things don't get too crowded. Just to name a few: large recreational complexes, complete with Olympic size pools; spas; tennis courts; golf courses; on-site restaurants, and a fine arts learning centers, and much more too numerous to mention. There are plenty of classes and community activities.
Sun City Grand offers a wide range of housing opportunities to fit virtually every lifestyle and budget. Anything from a small 1BR/1BA condo to a 4,000 sq ft single family home, and everything in between.
FEES: are based on the type of property you own. Single family residents pay $990/yr. Patio homes and condos pay more because the individual associations charge in addition to the larger Sun City Grand association.
Sun City Grand has 4 regulation 18-hole par 72 courses: Cimarron, Desert Springs, Granite Falls North and Granite Falls South.
All of the courses are public and offer preferred membership programs that provide discounts, preferred tee time booking, and the ability to use your own golf cart instead of paying cart fees. The courses are open to non-residents, but Sun City Grand residents pay lower fees, even without membership passes.
Each course books its own tee times, but rates and memberships are the same for all of them.
