It's a thought that many can't resist, even though the areas close to Phoenix and Scottsdale are nearly filled in, new construction is continuing to expand to the farthest reaches of the Greater Phoenix area. Expanding east and south past the Maricopa County borders into Queen Creek, Casa Grande, Florence and Eloy, and west to Buckeye....small rural areas that were once considered the middle of nowhere are now experiencing rapid growth.

If a new house is in your future, you'll have much to choose from, but expect to pay significantly more for a new home closer to the central Phoenix/Scottsdale/Glendale areas and get a good discount on the farther reaches of the Valley.
